Seats
The solid and inviting front seats slide forward generously to allow even more access to the rear seats. 2-Tronic gearbox
The 2-Tronic gearbox has two modes:
- a dynamic mode in which the gears can either be changed by paddles mounted on the steering wheel or by using the gear lever itself.
- an automatic mode which frees the driver from changing gear and makes for a calmer, smoother drive.
Engine

Visibility
The Peugeot 1007 has an MPV shape and is 1.62 m in height, a layout which promotes the interior space and the user-friendly aspect of the car, giving a high and dominant driving position which ensures visibility and safety.
ABS, ESP
The Peugeot 1007 can offer a high level of active safety including:
- An ESP (electronic stability program) system including ABS, Electronic Braking Distribution, traction control and yaw control.
- In addition, all 1007s have emergency brake assist and automatic illumination of the hazard warning lights in the event of rapid deceleration.
Isofix seats
The rear seats are fitted with Isofix mountings with three anchoring points... and children can be monitored from the front seats, thanks to a special foldaway mirror.
Airbags
Seven airbags (of which one is in the steering column) ensure the safety of the four occupants, while a buzzer and warning lights on the display serve as a warning that a seat belt has not been buckled or has become unbuckled.
ENVIRONMENT
Thanks mainly to the particle filter, which reduces polluting particles to the lowest levels which can be measured, and to its engines with reduced consumption, the Peugeot 1007 is also an efficient, environmentally friendly car.
1.6l HDi particles filter
The 1.6l HDi engine is connected to an “octosquare” type third generation high octane particle filter
which retains the particles then burns them automatically approximately every 1 200 km.
The filter should be replaced during the 180 000 km maintenance operation.
1.4 l HDi
The Peugeot 1007 has reduced CO2 levels, the 1.4l HDi engine in particular: 124g of CO2 emitted per km.
Consumption
1007The CO2 consumption is particularly reduced on the Peugeot 1007: 125g/km on the 1.6l HDi with particles filter for instance.
