The Peugeot Kids Cup

Peugeot and world rugby have had a shared history for a very long time. As part of its commitment to amateur rugby, Peugeot, in cooperation with the Stade Toulousain club, created in 2000 its own tournament for young rugby school licensees, the Peugeot Kids Cup.
Peugeot thus asserts its will to be present in all sectors of French rugby, from the professional scene to young beginners. Originally, this tournament took place as a curtain-raiser to the Stade Toulousain's matches, bringing together children aged under 13 for one-hour matches. In 2007, the concept changed, taking the form of a one-day tournament.
On the back of this success, the Lion brand decided to extend the concept to other towns and other countries, thus opening up the tournament. After five years' life on French territory, then, the Peugeot Kids Cup was exported internationally: since 2005, a successful version of the competition has taken place in Uruguay. Via the Peugeot Kids Cup, Peugeot broadens the scope of its contribution to amateur rugby and consolidates its image as a mainstay of training in rugby for the young.
"Working today to ensure the quality of tomorrow's rugby."
