To be a worthy successor to its predecessor, the new Boxer had to broaden its range. With three different wheelbases (3 m, 3.45 m and 4.04 m), the new Boxer panel van and window van versions are available in four lengths and three heights.

A wide range of versions are available (single and double cab chassis, bare chassis, single and double cab flatbed, platform cabs, motorised cabs, motorised front).

DESIGN

With its powerful and innovative style, its powerful front end and robust lines, the Boxer offers a dynamic silhouette to drive the image of a business.

 

Bonnet

The bonnet follows the curve of the wings and ensures continuity with the large windscreen, which comes down very low for good visibility and improved safety.

Bumper

An imposing front bumper provides effective protection. In the lower section it has two circular recesses for foglights and two rectangular recesses for steps.

Wide grille

The front end, with a design exuding robustness and safety, gives the Boxer a strong personality. A wide grille opening with a large Peugeot logo above and smooth high mounted almond shaped headlights help to identify the brand at first glance.

COMFORT

With its comfortable and functional driving position, which can be adapted to suit the needs of the driver, the Boxer has been designed to make a day behind the wheel as pleasant as possible.

 

Suspension

The standard suspension is longitudinal mono leaf spring suspension. It can be considered comfort suspension for the Combi Premium, the Combi Comfort and the Window Vans. A two-leaf reinforced suspension is optional for versions intended for the transportation of goods as well as rear suspension with pneumatic levelling.

Driver’s seat

The driver's seat is fitted with a height adjustable headrest, a tiltable backrest, an armrest and a height and length adjustable seat base. This seat can also be fitted with an optional variable and adjustable suspension.

Cab spaciousness

The cab, practical and comfortable, can accommodate up to three occupants. This well lit cab has been designed to be spacious to ensure maximum comfort for the passengers, including the passenger seated in the middle.

Dashboard

The driving position has ergonomically positioned controls. The dashboard, equipped with a large number of storage compartments is highly functional.

PERFORMANCE

With its uniform range of HDi engines that are powerful and economical and that adapt to all driving styles, as well as with all its technology and expertise, Peugeot brings power and reliability to the new Boxer.

 

HDi range

The Boxer offers a choice of three latest generation HDi Common rail diesel engines that comply with european standards: the 2.2 l HDi in 74 kW (100 bhp) and 88 kW (120 bhp) versions and the 3.0 l HDi SOFIM 115 kW (157 bhp) engine.

3.0 l HDi

The 3.0 l HDi engine has 4 cylinders and a displacement of 2,998 cm3. It develops a maximum power of 115 kW (157 bhp) at 2,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1,700 rpm.

SAFETY

The Boxer offers flawless roadholding and equipment found usually in a saloon provided to assist you when driving. Safety devices have also been fitted to protect the cargo and as an effective protection against theft.

ABS

All Boxers are fitted as standard with anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and emergency brake assist (EBA).

ESP, ASR

The Boxer can be fitted with ESP (electronic stability program) together with traction control (ASR).

Driver’s airbag

The Driver's front airbag, with a volume of 60 litres, is fitted as standard.

Passengers airbag

Side airbags (10 litres), housed in the side of the individual front seat seatbacks and curtain airbags (15 litres), integrated with the roof lining of the cab are available as an option.

ENVIRONMENT

The Boxer offers three new latest generation HDi Common rail diesel engines that comply with European standards and are fitted with an EOBD for emission control.

Particle filter

The Particle Filter (FAP) is available for the 3.0 l HDi (157 bhp) engine to reduce the particle emissions.

HDi common rail

HDi engines have the advantage of a common rail direct injection system which ensures very fine atomisation of the fuel directly into the combustion chamber which enables the mixture to be homogenised while reducing consumption and emissions at source.
