The feline features lead smoothly on to the raked windscreen, flowing in to the lines of the lowered roof, which then runs down to the boot lid with a fully integrated aerodynamic spoiler.
Dynamism
The bevelled edges of the rear bumper melt into the sides of the Peugeot 407 Coupé, dropping downwards into the front panel to give it a dynamic air and a sense of balance.
Rear bumper
Underscored by a black air extractor, the rear bumper of the Peugeot 407 Coupé has a robust, reassuring air. It holds the vehicle on the road and draws your eye forward.

The Peugeot 407 Coupé offers indisputable driving pleasure provided by a choice of high performance, modern engines both in petrol and diesel HDi versions with particle filter. Two of these are 2 V6 engines: the 3.0 l V6 petrol (211 bhp) and the new 3.0l V6 HDi Euro 5 particle filter (241 bhp) which is the engine the most powerful ever mount on a Peugeot série.

Suspension
The V6 version of the Peugeot 407 Coupé provides its occupants with electrically controlled variable shock absorbers. Each shock absorber is managed separately and may change every few miles to one of 9 damper programs. This results in unrivalled dampening of the suspension, combined with the body support needed for the vehicle's dynamic functions.
Steering
The Peugeot 407 Coupé's steering has a pump assembly controlled by a valve which is specially configured to guarantee the desired performance, and in particular to centre the vehicle and ensure precision.

The directional headlight function is activated from 5 km/h, both in dipped and main beam headlight mode. This function is particularly advantageous on winding roads. In order to provide continuous visibility, even on twisting roads, the direction of the beam is changed according to the angle of the steering wheel and the vehicle speed.
