The boot on the new 308SW offers a load volume of up to 674 litres(570dm3 VDA) under the luggage concealer cover on the 5 seat version and up to 2149 litres (1736 dm3 VDA) with the seats removed. With a load treshold situated at only 548mm from the ground, the 308SW makes light work of loading heavy items.Interior features

This automatically switches of the engine whenever the car stops moviving, then seamlessly restarts it when the driver presses the accelerator. As a result e-Hdi boasts improved fuel consumptions of 70.6 mpg and reduced CO2 emmissions of just 98g.Road Handling

SAFETY

Shatterproof and acoustic side windows
308 (SW) may be fitted with shatterproof and acoustic side windows * offering:

A single dipped window breaks in 1 second, whilst a laminated window resists for several seconds.

Acoustic windows filter out certain frequencies from outside the vehicle and significantly reduce the sound levels within the vehicle.
- UV protection: Up to 99% of UV rays are blocked out by laminated glass

ENVIRONMENT
The latest-generation engine technologies, combined with the car's streamlining, weight control design and the use of the new Michelin Energy Saver tyres provide the Peugeot 308 SW with improved environmental efficiency by comparison with its predecessor. It thus boasts fuel consumption, for a comparable engine type, of up to 10% less than the Peugeot 307 SW.
Michelin Energy Saver tyres
These tyres, which were developed exclusively with Michelin for the Peugeot 308 at its launch, feature a new architecture which reduces roll resistance, and consequently the amount of energy required to propel the vehicle, whilst at the same time maintaining its roadholding qualities.
FAP
Since the year 2000, HDi technology, which is exclusive to PSA Peugeot Citroën, has been combined with a high-performance pollution control system, the FAP dust filter. This filter eliminates diesel particles once and for all by reducing them to the measurable threshold (0.004 g/km).
