DESIGN
The Peugeot 307 SW has a commanding front end panel with a wide air inlet which imparts strength and power. Rising up along the wings, the headlights underline the feline appearance. Its curvy windscreen is extended by a large glass roof with red chrome rear lights finishing off the technological, dynamic design.

The front end panel of the Peugeot 307 SW with its large air inlet, chrome radiator grille and stretched headlights give it a distinctive personality, with the brightness of the windscreen flowing unbroken to the end of the panoramic roof.

Modularity
The Peugeot 307 SW has a remarkable modularity, with up to seven seats. The second row rear seats are individual and can be folded, repositioned when there is no middle seat, or moved to the third row. One of two additional folding seats can be fitted to the third row.
PERFORMANCE
The Peugeot 307 SW comes with a choice of petrol and HDi engines, all with 16 valves which reconcile safety with driving pleasure. The steering and suspension axles require a triangular Pseudo Mac-Pherson type front axle and rear axle with flexible cross member. Electro-hydraulic power-assisted steering. An ESP system with ABS, electronic braking distribution, traction control and stability control functions. In order to perfect the shock absorption system and to neutralise the effects of increased load, common to this type of vehicle, variable shock absorbers have been fitted to the rear axle.
6 gear automatic transmission
The six gear automatic transmission is zippy when pulling away, has pleasant continuity when accelerating and a general feeling of pleasure resulting from the optimum use of the engine torque range. As well as the comfort of an entirely automatic gearbox, its sequential “Porsche Tiptronic system” ensures a more active drive.
6 gear manual gearbox
The 2.0l HDi particle filter 16v (136bhp) engine is also available with a 6 gear manual gearbox.
2.0l HDi particle filter
The 2.0l HDi particle filter 16v (136bhp) engine is fitted with a Garrett variable geometry turbocharger. It has a maximum power of 100 kW at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 320 Nm at 2000 rpm.
SAFETY
The Peugeot 307 SW has high levels of active, passive and tertiary safety due, in particular, to the following: ESP and ABS, adaptive front airbags, side chest level airbags, curtain airbags to protect both front and rear passengers heads, seat belts with inertia reels and three anchoring points and active “spinal care system” backrests on the front seats
Telematics system
An RT4 telematics system is available on the Peugeot 307 SW. This system combines audio functions with a GSM phone, GPS Navigation and emergency call system.
EBA
The Peugeot 307 SW comes with emergency brake assist (EBA) as standard.
ABS, ESP, ASR
The Peugeot 307 SW may be fitted with a Bosch 8.0 electronic stability program (ESP) which consists of an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and anti-slip regulation (ASR) which act on the engine management system and brakes.
Curtain airbags
The Peugeot 307 SW has up to six airbags, two of which are curtain airbags connected to seat belts with pyrotechnic pretension and low loading force limiters.
ENVIRONMENT
The Peugeot 307 SW has a diesel HDi particle filter engine, which is as dynamic as it is economical to use and environmentally friendly.
HDi FAP
Les moteurs HDi bénéficient d'un système d'injection directe Common Rail qui assure une pulvérisation très fine directement dans la chambre de combustion et permet d'homogénéiser le mélange tout en réduisant la consommation et les émissions à la source. Le filtre à particules (FAP) vise à éradiquer les particules de suie.
Emissions
Les deux moteurs 1.61 HDi FAP (90 ch et 110 ch) qui équipent la Peugeot 307 SW ne rejettent que 134g CO2 par kilomètre.
