Instrument panel and dashboard
A dashboard suggestive of a gentle wave, easy-to-read instrument panels with a sporty design, air vents with eye-catching hub caps… the pursuit of a modern look all the way into the interior design. The dashboard layout is both accurate and stylish. All the information and features you need right under your hands and eyes. Whether it be checking your speed, consulting the trip computer* or adjusting the air conditioning**, the 206+ is a model of driver friendliness. The centralised locking button on the handbrake pad can be easily reached by all.

Trims
The 206+ comes with two types of trims: the Checkmate Mistral stitch and the Pacifio Blue-Black fabric. The former endows the 206+ with a first level of class and style; the latter comes with appealing strips and overstitching to add an extra layer of chic and vibrancy.
Modular rear seat
Did that little trip to the shops turn into a spree? Leaving for a few days holidays? The 206+ adapts to your needs. The entire rear seat can be folded down, either as a single unit or as a 2/3 – 1/3 configuration, depending on the version.
PERFORMANCE
The 206+ is perfectly sized to meet all your requirements, both in the city and on the road. You can also choose from a range of engines : a 1.1L petrol-efficient model, a 1.4L petrol engine model designed for urban use as well as long journeys or a 1.4 L HDi engine with one of the lowest level of fuel consumption in that market segment.
Engines
Petrol 1.1L - 60 bhp: combined with a 5-speed manual transmission, this 1124 cc injection engine emits only 135 g of CO2 per kilometer, consuming 5.7 liters in mixed cycle driving.
Petrol 1.4L – 75 bhp: with an engine volume capacity of 1360 cc, this 5-speed manual transmission engine emits 150 g of CO2 per kilometer, consuming 6.3 liters in mixed cycle driving.
Diesel HDi 1.4L – 70 bhp: thanks to HDi technology, this turbo engine with an engine volume capacity of 1.4 liters only consumes 4.2 liters at 100 kilometers in mixed cycle driving, emitting just 110 g of CO2/km.
Running gear
The 206+ delivers the top-quality road handling you expect of Peugeot cars. The pseudo McPherson front suspension and anti-roll bar further enhances the driving experience.
SAFETY
For complete peace of mind, the 206+ comes with a range of top-notch features delivering maximum security and helping drivers anticipate and counter certain hazards.
Braking system
The 206+ is equipped with anti-lock brakes (ABS), emergency brake assist (EBA) and electronic brake force distribution (EBFD).
ESP
The Electronic Stability Programme (ESP*) combines 5 functions : in addition to Electronic Brake Force Distribution on all four wheels (EBFD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Anti-lock brakes (ABS), there are Anti-Skid Regulation (ASR) and traction control (CDS) which help the driver to keep the vehicle on course, where physically possible.

ISOFIX system
With the Isofix system, you can install a seat fitted with a device that locks firmly into fixation points in the rear seat fitting, so you can be sure that the children are safely seated.
Airbags
The 206+ can be fitted with 2 to 4 airbags depending on the versions: two frontal airbags, 2 side airbags* fitted into the sides of the front seats.

Peugeot’s firm commitment to respect the environment, notably thanks to the Blue Lion® programme, can already demonstrate very concrete results :
- Since the year 2000, Peugeot has sold more than 1,700,000 private vehicles fitted with a PEF (Particle Emission Filter),
- Since 2001, nearly 1,100,000 vehicles emitting less than 120g of CO2/km have been registered by Peugeot in Europe (14 countries),
- In 2007, 40% of the private vehicles registered in Europe by Peugeot emitted less than 130g of CO2/km,
- All of the marque’s vehicles are manufactured in ISO 14001-accredited factories and are designed to be 95% recyclable at the end of their life.
HDi engine
The HDi diesel engine has a Common Rail direct injection system which releases a very fine spray into the combustion chamber, thus making for a uniform mixture while minimizing fuel consumption and emissions at source. From an emission level of 110g of CO2/km on the 1.4L HDi 70 bhp engine, 206+ works for a better respect of the environment.
