The lines of the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT are pure, distinguished and sporty: the chassis lowered by 11 mm, a completely new front and rear. It has all the features of a sports car: dual exhausts with chrome-plated tail-pipes, chequerboard front grille, GTi logos on the front wings and on the rear hatch, generous air intake for the supercharger air cooler, aerodynamic deflectors on the bottom of the bumpers... Every one of these features will delight GTi enthusiasts and purists.

Coupe Franche

In the 270 hp version, there is a colour change of surgical precision from Ultimate Red to Perla Nera Black. Christened the Coupe Franche in French and applied in a special production shop, this combination of colours symbolises the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT – sharp and extreme.

Ground Links

Precisely balanced, the running gear facilitates dynamic driving with complete confidence. The pseudo-McPherson front axle is precisely positioned, while the rear axle, with a deformable cross-member, follows naturally.

Torsen® Limited-Slip Differential

Exclusive to the GTi 270 version, a Torsen® limited-slip differential is built into the gearbox and improves the car's dynamics on bends. Because the torque is transferred to the most heavily loaded wheel, you can get accelerate sooner, when pulling out of the bend.

A Reinforced Gearbox

To cope with the high levels of torque, which top out at 330 N.m, the six-gear manual gearbox has been strengthened. Its two shafts are now shot-blasted and the pinions are surface-hardened by deep carbonitriding. This thermo-chemical process strengthens the part, in terms of resistance to both wear and fatigue, by increasing its carbon and nitrogen content. Finally, the shaft emerging from the box has been shortened to assist acceleration.

Brake Discs

For powerful braking, the ventilated front discs are 380 mm  in diameter. Fitted on an aluminium bowl, they are squeezed by four pistons (38 mm and 41 mm in diameter) sliding in a fixed red calliper signed PEUGEOT SPORT . The rear discs are 268 mm in diameter. This assembly has proven its endurance in use, consistently providing remarkable service.

GTi Quality and Passion

The design of the passenger compartment is resolutely sporty with an anthracite finish up to roof height. Red over-locking punctuates the dashboard, seats, door panels, gear-stick boot and top-of-the-range floor mats. The interior breathes passion with a full-grain leather steering wheel with the GTi logo and red centring mark; the door sills – bearing Peugeot Sport and GTi logos – in aluminium like the pedals, foot-rest and gear-stick knob.

Driver Sport Pack

The Driver Sport Pack offers the driver the option to extend the car's sporting feel. Pressing the SPORT button on the central console changes the colour of the instrument panels from white to red, provides additional information in the central matrix, amplifies the sound of the engine via the audio system and changes the mapping of the accelerator pedal.

Bucket Seats

The stretched bucket seat  in TEP , fabric and Acantara, and signed PEUGEOT SPORT, provides excellent lateral support, so that the driver is one with the car and feels its movement at all times.

With a record weight-to-power ratio for the category, only 4.46 kg/hp, the 308 GTi 270 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 6.0 s and cover 1000 m from a standing start in 25.3 s.

Front Shield

The generous front shield reflects the level of performance of the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT. In the upper part, full-LED headlights are framed by an exclusive grille. Two deflectors complete the front shield and contribute to a perception of a car glued to the road. They also assist with the aerodynamic performance of the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT, whose CdA is only 0.69.

Tyres and Rims

The 270 GTi version has Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres and Reverse-type rims, which let you admire the 380 mm-diameter front discs, squeezed by a solid calliper with four pistons.


The rear end is powerful. It is visually positioned on the ground by the black painted outlet with its two generous emerging exhaust pipes.

Weighing in at only 1,205 kg, the 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT has an excellent power-to-weight ratio of 4.46 kg per hp* and demonstrates real prowess by emitting only 139 g CO2 per km in a mixed cycle and consuming only 6.0 L per 100 km in mixed-cycle driving – a record for the category, 8.1 L per 100 km in an urban cycle and 4.9 L per 100 km in an extra-urban cycle (in accordance with directive 99/100/EC).
*on the 270 hp version. Power-to-weight ratio on the 250 hp version is 4.82 kg/hp.
