The new PEUGEOT 3008: amplified senses at Peugeot Avenue Paris

1st October 2016 saw the arrival of the latest SUV from the lion brand at its new Peugeot Avenue Paris autumn event, “Amplify your Senses”: the new PEUGEOT 3008.

The event features a range of experiences enabling visitors to explore the interior of the new vehicle, as well as the new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®: four different sensory devices are available to try, each demonstrating a distinctive feature of the car. Three new PEUGEOT 3008s are on show: the GT version with its Amazonite Grey and Black, “Coupe Franche” finish; the stylish, sporty GT Line version in Pearl White; and the Allure version with its distinctive Metallic Copper livery. The three cars come with the PEUGEOT e-Kick electrically assisted folding scooter, which can be charged in the boot of the new PEUGEOT 3008 and helps cover the last mile of your journey.

The new SUV from the lion brand is more than a new vehicle — this car is going to rewrite the rule book. Emotion remains a core value at PEUGEOT; that’s why it’s pushing the sensory experience further than ever before. Built around an innovative display to produce an incredible 3D effect, four arches form a space in which visitors can explore the new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® using almost all of their senses:

- Sight: With the Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headset, visitors can experience a number of the different driving aids that are available with the new SUV PEUGEOT 3008. They can even continue the experience with a Google Cardboard viewer, available at Peugeot Avenue Paris.

- Hearing: With the FOCAL® audio system, visitors can test out a unique sound design; in fact, the new PEUGEOT 3008 is the world’s first series production car to be fitted with the FOCAL® high-fidelity sound system.

- Touch: Visitors can explore the polysensory technology and the multipoint massage system embedded in the seats — on armchair-style seats which are identical to those in the vehicle itself — and try out the five different ambiances that are available.

- Smell: A fragrance diffuser offers up three different scents created specifically and exclusively by perfumer Antoine Lie: Harmony Wood, Aerodrive and Cosmic Leather. Three scented candles with the same fragrances are available to purchase in the store for visitors who want to take their experience home with them.

An extensive range of products inspired by the world of the new PEUGEOT 3008 is waiting to be discovered at Peugeot Avenue Paris.
