The oldest brand of motorised two-wheel vehicles will once again be present at the Paris Motor Show this year. This is your opportunity to discover two of our flagship models: the PEUGEOT Metropolis RS in a new colour called Satin Technium and the Django in a never before seen ID version invented and voted on by the Facebook community!
The PEUGEOT Metropolis, the most technologically advanced 3-wheel vehicle on the market, will be present with its RS finishing. Inspired by the automotive world that came before it, the vehicle is ideal for daily use and therefore naturally belongs at the Paris Motor Show. Perfect for the busy gentleman looking for a chic, safe, and reliable vehicle that can dominate the road without getting tied up in traffic.
Originally available in a titanium colour, the PEUGEOT Metropolis RS is offered in satin technium, a radiant shade of light matte grey that plays on the contrasts of the scooter and highlights the streamlined design that is in line with the brand’s aesthetics. Moreover, the manually adjustable tinted wind deflector, machine-wrought black rims, aluminium base and stainless sport exhaust system highlight the vehicle’s sporty elegance.
The PEUGEOT Metropolis is richly equipped and recognized as the most technologically advanced scooter on the market in terms of rider safety and comfort. The vehicle has a dual tilting wheels (DTW) system, an electronically controlled parking brake, a day running light (DRL) system, an intelligent on-board computer (which constantly checks tyre pressure, gives under-inflation warnings, monitors average consumption, etc.), and a 400i low friction efficiency (LFE) engine, not to mention the electronic Smart Key which is detected within a 1.5m radius of the vehicle.
The Django, named for the rebellious musician and directly inspired by the emblematic 1953 S55 by PEUGEOT, is designed in a captivating neo-retro style. Four versions of the vehicle–Heritage, Sport, Evasion, and Allure–are available. This scooter is recapturing hearts with its seductive look and streamlined design. With its 2 cylinders measuring 50 cm3 and 125 cm3, the Django is the ideal urban companion for anyone and is practically a “concept scooter”: Thanks to the Django ID configuration system available at the PEUGEOT Scooters website, it is finally possible to create your dream model. You can choose between 22 one- or two-colour options, 7 seat finishes, 3 versions of wing mirrors, 2 finishes for the back of the body and the light signature for a total of over 110,000 different potential combinations.
As for amenities, the vehicle is still well-equipped on all fronts with many series advantages (flat base, double glove box with lock and 12V outlet, semi-digital dashboard, LED lighting, box for a jet helmet, etc.) and various options for going even further with style or safety.
Designed by the PEUGEOT Scooters Facebook community, the Django ID model on exhibit at the Paris Motor Show is therefore unique, with an upper body in Vitamin Orange and a lower body in Mad Grey, an Evasion seat and a Sport shell. The model has a single cylinder, 4-stroke 125 cm3 engine with synchro braking concept (SBC), an ink black wing mirror shell, LED signature lighting, a front luggage rack, a wind deflector and a passenger backrest.During the Paris Motor Show, the rest of the 125 cm3 PEUGEOT Scooters line will be on display in the two-wheel exposition in Hall 1, Porte de Versailles.
