It was at the La Ferté Gaucher circuit that the 208 GTi Racing Experience international final took place, with forty drivers taking part (5 per country), who had been selected in eight European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
On completion of the first three tests of the day, only 16 finalists (2 per country) would face each other at the wheel of the new 208 GTi on a timed lap of the La Ferté Gaucher circuit for the last test of the day, before finding themselves in front of the jury.
The five members of the Jury (Cyrus AYARI, Eric HELARY, Bruce JOUANNY, Jean-Pierre NICOLAS, and Jean-Luc ROY) then interviewed the16 candidates face to face to confirm their motivation and their potential to become an official 208 GTi driver and ambassador for Peugeot.
