Peugeot 208: a first distinction in the United Kingdom
- Personal cars
Every year, the British weekly Auto Express awards its highly coveted motoring prizes: the entire vehicle range available in the UK market, divided into categories, is judged by the editorial staff of the magazine, according to a comprehensive range of static and dynamic criteria.
In the "Supermini" category, which accounts for more than 30% of the market in the UK, the 208 won the prize, ahead of the Audi A1 and the Ford Fiesta; in the "Coupé" class, the RCZ is rewarded for the third year running.
Editor-in-Chief of Auto Express, Steve Fowler, said of the 208; "Peugeot is back on top of the small car class. The 208 has got it all: style, quality, space and kit, while it's good to drive and super- efficient, too."
