Mika, the Family One gospel choir and the Peugeot Design Lab piano for Pleyel light up the Salle Pleyel
The singer Mika and the Family One gospel choir were featured in the first private concert for the Peugeot Design Lab piano for Pleyel which took place at the Salle Pleyel on Monday 3 December.
This concert was an initiative of the PSA Peugeot Citroën and Pleyel Foundations. In partnership with the Apprentis d’Auteuil, this concert also had the objective of promoting the Family One gospel choir by giving them access to the Salle Pleyel, an important concert hall in Paris.
Mika, the celebrated singer-songwriter, gave the evening over to his latest titles and essential tracks on the avant-garde piano.
The gospel choir joined the singer on the stage to accompany him before an audience won over by his most celebrated songs, such as Relax, Celebrate, Elle me dit …
This was the first performance in public of the revolutionary piano launched in September, the Peugeot Design Lab for Pleyel, which accompanied the artistes on the stage throughout the show. The instrument demonstrated its richness of sound, resulting from the innovation and partnership by the pair of two hundred year old companies: Peugeot and Pleyel.
