For the launch of the new Peugeot 308, we held an Europe-wide competition inviting internet users to show us their character by posting one photo and using three words to describe their strong personality.

The happy winners enjoyed a professional photo shoot in Paris with Xavier Lambours, who is considered one of the best portrait photographers in France.
The website welcomed over 700,000 visitors in 20 days, and more than 6,200 internet users from across Europe entered the contest, inviting their Facebook friends to vote for them.
At the end of the 3-week contest, 308 finalists were chosen.
Xavier Lambours personally selected the 28 winners with the most character from among these finalists. The happy winners, from 11 different countries, enjoyed a dream holiday in Paris: photo shoots in a studio in the 5th arrondissement, dinner on the Seine, and nights in a charming hotel near the Sorbonne (Paris).

Xavier Lambours is famous for his photos of the Cannes Film Festival and his stunning photos of Orson Welles, Robert de Niro and Mick Jagger. The Musée de la Photographie in Paris is currently exhibiting a major retrospective of his work. His outstanding career also enabled him to work with Louis Vuitton. Xavier Lambours recently received the Delmas prize from the Académie des Beaux-Arts, awarded by the Institut de France. He is the first photographer to win this prize. Until now, this prize has only been awarded to painters or sculptors.
