Peugeot, which partnered the event, congratulates Taïg Khris, three times inline skating world champion, who once again made his mark in extreme sports history by beating the world record for the longest inline skating jump on Saturday, July 2nd with his 29-metre jump in front of Sacré Coeur Basilica.

After having beaten the high jump record with his jump from the Eiffel Tower in 2010, Taïg Khris has taken the crown from Dany Way, the previous record holder, with a panoramic jump over the rooftops of Paris.

More than 75,000 people came to the Sacré Coeur to watch Taïg Khris complete his feat. The event was widely reported by TV news programmes, and channel W9, which broadcast the stunt live, had viewing figures peaking at 800,000 people as the jump took place.
