The Peugeot offensive launched in 2010 – A year when many records were broken- continues in 2011.
The Marque presents a ‘World Premiere’ for the new Peugeot 308, launches the 508 and introduces new environmental technologies:
- e-HDi micro-hybridisation on the 508 and the new 308
- The first diesel hybrid in the world with the 3008 HYbrid4
- 100% electric with the iOn
2010: A RECORD-BREAKING YEAR
In the year of its 200th anniversary, Peugeot achieved an all-time record in terms of global sales, up 16.3 % to 2,142,000 units.
In 2010, Peugeot
- confirmed its position as the world’s leading French car manufacturer,
- moved up one place in the manufacturer rankings both at world and European level (9th and 4th place respectively)
- launched the RCZ sports coupé, delivered the first 100 % electric Peugeot iOn vehicles, and put on sale models specifically designed for leading growth markets, including the 408 in China and the Hoggar pick-up in Brazil
- began European deployment of the highly innovative Mu by Peugeot mobility service
- continued its international development in Asia (sales up 38.9 %), Russia (+ 34 %), and Latin America (+ 24 %),…
To develop this momentum in 2011, Peugeot is unveiling more new products in Geneva, reaffirming its environmental leadership and offering its vision of the mobility of tomorrow.
