The press launch for the Peugeot 107 took place on the evening of 16th July in Taipei City against a European-style decorative backdrop.

Around a hundred web and TV journalists were present for the Peugeot 107 launch party, with the vehicle exhibited in four colours for the occasion. Director Dandy YEH hailed Peugeot's latest star in Taiwan, and confirmed PGU's commitment to developing Peugeot's business in Taiwan. To conclude, he addressed the issue of stock shortages of the Peugeot 3008, explaining that this had been the result of global success, and that PGU would do everything in its power to order higher volumes from Peugeot to satisfy its waiting customers. Following a presentation of the product led by Gen, a procession of models illustrated the link between city life and the Peugeot 107, a vehicle designed specifically for urban driving. The journalists were impressed by the look and design of the Peugeot 107, which they judged to be a highly competitive vehicle.
