5th Peugeot Design Competition : the 10 best projects
The phase of the general public putting their votes on the Marque’s corporate site, www.peugeot.com, ended on 15th September with over 132,000 votes for this 5th Peugeot Design Competition.
For its part, the Peugeot Jury has selected 10 finalist projects for the final straight:
GALapagos – Igor Yastrebov – Romania – 21 years old
Peugeot 888 – Oskar Johansen – Norway – 34 years old
Rugir – Onur Güvenc – Germany – 26 years old
P.R.O. – Ke Guo – China – 21 years old
OXO – Lou Ke – China – 22 years old
Ego – Emre Yazici – Turkey – 45 years old
RD – Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar- Colombia – 25 years old
Vision – Shinji Numuki – Japan – 33 years old
MoVille – Woo-Ram Lee – France – 22 years old
Seed by Peugeot – Yann Terrer – France – 28 years old
On 2nd October 2008, on the Peugeot stand at the Paris Motor Show, Mr Jean-hilippe Collin, Peugeot CEO, will award the "la Griffe" trophy to the winner, who will see his project produced as a 1/1 scale model for the Shanghai Motor Show in the spring of 2009 and will also receive the sum of €10,000. The names of the other two finalists will be announced at the same time.
This 5th Peugeot Design Competition has shown again the amazing energy that fires designers of over 95 nationalities who submitted more than 2,500 projects.
