RD : winner of the 2008 Peugeot Design Contest

The Peugeot judging panel, which met on 2 October 2008, nominated RD as the winner of this fifth Peugeot Design Contest. Ego and OXO complete this victory podium.

Here is the podium that has been elected by the judging panel:

First: RD – Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar - Colombia – Age 25.
Second: Ego – Emre Yazici – Turkey – Age 45.
Third: OXO – Lou Ke – China – Age 22.

This new edition of the Design Contest has again shown the wonderful energy driving the designers of around 100 nationalities who have proposed more than 2500 designs. The general-public voting phase, which took place from 15 August to 15 September on the Make's institutional website www.peugeot.com, ended with more than 132,000 votes for this fifth Peugeot Design Contest.

Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar, the creator of RD and winner of this fifth edition, will see his design produced in full-scale model form for the Shanghai Motor Show in the spring of 2009 and will receive a prize of €10,000.
The winners of the XBOX game will be nominated on the Make's institutional website on 10 October and will receive their console toward the end of October.
