RT4 and emergency calling: one step ahead!

The RT4 telematics system, available on option, provides, in addition to its audio, telephone and navigation functions, access to services including "Peugeot Assistance" (Peugeot Recovery) and, especially, "Peugeot Urgence" (Peugeot Emergency).

This emergency call service which locates the car precisely is offered free of charge, without any time limit. It is currently available in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg. It establishes contact with a professional speaking the customer's mother tongue. This service can be called manually or automatically (in the event of tripping of pyrotechnic components), thereby allowing rapid emergency intervention.

Since its launch in 2003, "Peugeot Urgence" (Peugeot Emergency) has already helped more than 2000 users by early December 2007.
This emergency calling system, moreover, is certified as in conformity with French civil security requirements; it is approved by the Department of Defence and Civil Security (DDSC), under the French Ministry of the Interior.
