Micro-hybride technology e-HDi
Environmental responsibility is one of mankind’s greatest challenges. Creating innovative technology to cut emissions and fuel consumption is a step in the right direction and on the 308, 508, and Partner Teepee ranges, Peugeot has introduced a new-generation Stop & Start system featuring e-HDi technology.
This automatically switches off the engine whenever the vehicle becomes stationary, for example, at a red light or a “Stop” sign. With improved technology, restarting is particularly smooth when the driver wishes to continue his or her journey.
Peugeot e-HDi technology offers better control of fuel consumption and emissions of CO2. This technology is combined with a 6-speed, electronically controlled,
manual gearbox.
