A century of models

1994 : 806

After having dropped the prototype designed by Matra at the start of the 80's, Peugeot launched its first MPV ten years later. The 806 was the result of a collaboration with Fiat, headed by PSA, which also gave rise to the Citroën Evasion, the Fiat Ulysse and Lancia Zeta. These four vehicles only differed in certain bodywork components. The 806 had a daring sliding side door, a bold feature which would eventually be found on the 1007. The 806 came up against stiff competition in the form of the Espace III from Matra, sold by Renault.
