Historical partnerships
Since Jean-Pierre Peugeot created the first company golf course back in 1929, Peugeot has extensively invested in promoting golf. As a partner of the French Open for 14 years and of the Lancôme Trophy until 2003, Peugeot has been travelling the world for over 30 years meeting golfing enthusiasts.
Drawn to tennis since the beginning of the 1970s, Peugeot has made a name for itself as one of the historical partners of the French international Roland-Garros tournament. Peugeot joined the Tournament's VIP Village in 1984, went on to become Official Carrier in 1989 and inaugurated a Roland-Garros-stamped range of vehicles the same year, which has developed greatly since then. Peugeot's special Roland-Garros series of vehicles now comprise 6 models – the
207 CC, 308 CC, 3008 and a range specifically designed for China that includes the 308, 408 and 508 – 1 City Star 125 cc scooter and 1 RG01 sporty urban-styled bike.
