A Century of History

Peugeot has had a close relationship with this sport for almost a century, ever since the creation of the first company golf course by Jean-Pierre Peugeot in 1929.
The brand with the lion emblem has not stopped increasing its involvement with the world of golf and its presence is international: partner of the French Peugeot Open for 14 years, official partner of the Lancôme Trophy (until 2003), the Spanish Open, the Portuguese Golf Federation and the French championship for golf instructors.
Peugeot has set out to meet amateur players from all over the world for over 30 years. Thanks to this experience, Peugeot is helping to popularise the concept of the international pairs scramble competition, run in conjunction with Promogolf.

Peugeot Golf Tour International

In 2015, Peugeot is organising a new edition of its international golf competition aimed at amateur players in Europe, Latin America and in the French Overseas Departments and Territories. The competition maintains its pairs scramble formula, which offers greater enjoyment and the original possibility of playing two different flags on the greens.
This event has provided Peugeot with the opportunity to celebrate its new models, in particular the GT and GT Line versions of the Peugeot 308 and 308 SW and also three restyled versions of the top-of-the-range Peugeot 508, 508 SW and 508 RXH models. Each stage of the event will provide an opportunity to present the entire range of Peugeot models in exhibition areas and original and innovative test-drive centres.
The Peugeot Golf Tour International, one of the first stages of which will be held in Chile, will culminate with an international final held at the exclusive Saint-Cloud Golf Club just outside Paris.
Taking place from 13th to 15th September, the event will be sure to feature more than its fair share of emotion-packed moments.
